MENTIONS LÉGALES
Terms of Service for players
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Nos textes légaux sont disponibles en grec et en anglais. Ceci est la version anglaise.
These terms apply to you, the player who uses the JOLE app with a JOLE Player account: at app.jolepadel.com and, once available, from Google Play and the App Store. They are different from the Terms of Service for clubs, which apply between us and clubs. What we do with your data is explained in the Privacy Policy for players. If you join a game from a link without an account, the Participation Terms of section 18 apply to you.
1. Who we are
AUDIVION L.P., 47 Solonos St., Kolonaki, Athens 10672, Greece, VAT EL802838365, GEMI 183697103000. Email: hello@jolepadel.com.
2. The JOLE Player account
The app and the JOLE Player account are free. With it you find and open padel games, request lessons with clubs' coaches, send and accept invitations, talk to team-mates and clubs, find clubs, and watch and upload videos and stories. Some things, such as the video feed, are also available without an account.
The account is personal: one account per person, with your real details. Do not share it.
JOLE AI is free too (section 9). We do not sell anything in the app at the moment.
3. Age
Creating an account and taking part in games and lessons through JOLE are allowed for people who are at least 18 years old. Accounts with the consent of a parent or guardian are not provided for.
- The declaration. When you register, whichever way you do it (email, Apple, Google, Facebook), you tick “I confirm that I am at least 18 years old.” The box is not pre-ticked and registration does not complete without it. The same applies when you join a game from a link without an account (section 18). We record only that the declaration was made, when, and which version of these terms applied at that time. We do not ask for an ID or a date of birth and we do not check the declaration against documents.
- Accounts that already existed. If your account was created before the declaration was asked for, the app asks for it before your next participation in a game, lesson, tournament, weekly game, proposal, availability or JOLE AI search. Until you give it, you do not join new games or lessons; everything else (profile, messages, leaving, declining an invitation, support, deletion) works as usual.
- If you are under 18. If you declare that you are not yet 18 («Είμαι κάτω των 18», I am under 18), you do not join new games or lessons, we do not suggest you for or invite you to any, and you leave at once everything you have arranged for the future: spots in games that have not started, lessons and lesson requests, JOLE AI matchmaking proposals, waiting lists, requests to join, tournaments (including clubs' tournaments), recurring weekly games, JOLE AI searches and declared availability. The others' game goes on with your spot open: they learn only that you left, not why, and when the four was complete with a confirmed court a substitute is looked for (section 6). A game is cancelled only if nobody is left in it. A lesson you had requested or booked on your own is cancelled, and the club is told; you leave a group lesson with other students, and the lesson goes on for them. If you were linked as a coach at a club, your account is unlinked, and the club learns it without the reason. JOLE does not charge you anything for this. We open a support request so that a person can check what was settled and correct the declaration if it was made by mistake.
- The account until deletion. An under-18 account is restricted: it does not take part in games or lessons or take any action on games, lessons or tournaments, including as an organiser, does not publish, change its profile photo, comment, send messages or invitations, or follow new accounts, and other players neither see nor contact it: it does not appear in searches, lists or on its profile, a private conversation with it is hidden from the other person, and no one can send it a message or invitation. Its spot stays in the history of games already played. Support (also for a copy of the data), settings, leaving, declining invitations and deletion remain available. The account is deleted automatically 14 days after the declaration or the marking, on the date the app shows, in the same way as when the user deletes it (Data deletion). Until then it can also be deleted earlier.
- If we learn that someone is under 18. The platform team marks the account as an under-18 account when it learns this from a report (reports have the category «Χρήστης κάτω των 18 ετών», User under 18), a support request or a club's notice, and records which of the three it relied on. From then on the same applies as in the two previous paragraphs, and the user learns it in the app's Activity, with the deletion date. If it is a mistake, the user replies to the support request and the marking is lifted before deletion; whatever was left is not restored automatically.
4. Registration and sign-in
- Registration. You register with your email, which you confirm with a code, or with a Google, Apple or Facebook account where the app offers it. During registration you also confirm your mobile number, once, with a one-time code we send you by SMS.
- Sign-in. From then on you sign in with a code we send to your account's email, or with Google, Apple or Facebook if you have linked them. The mobile number is not a way to sign in, and we do not send you SMS to sign in.
- Changing your mobile number. The new number is recorded as pending and we approve it; we let you know at your email.
- Session. You stay signed in while you use the app; the session expires by itself after a long period of inactivity, and when you sign out.
- Sign-in with PIN. You can set a four-digit PIN for one device. After you sign out, on that device you sign in again with the PIN instead of a code sent to your email. The PIN does not lock the app and does not work on any other device. After 5 wrong attempts it is deleted, and you sign in again with the code sent to your email. Anyone who has your device and knows the PIN can get into your account, so do not give it to anyone; you can turn it off at any time in Settings.
You are responsible for keeping access to your account's email and for not giving anyone the codes we send you or your PIN.
5. How you behave
Not allowed:
- false identity or impersonating someone else;
- harassment, threats, racist, abusive or sexual content;
- unsolicited commercial messages;
- fake scores, false absence reports, requests for achievements you did not win, or any attempt to distort someone's level or reliability;
- scores for games that were not played, or arranged games to raise your own or someone else's JOLE Rating. If we find this, we may cancel those results (any that had counted are taken out of everyone's ratings, and the players of the game are informed) or suspend the account; a suspension comes with a statement of reasons and the right to appeal (section 10);
- attempts to reach other players' data, or automated data collection.
We do not tolerate such content. Messages, comments, captions, titles, names and descriptions with abusive words are not published: the app asks you to change them before they are sent. Anything that gets past this check you can report (section 10).
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where feasible, we notify first and explain why.
6. Games
- Open games. You can join as many open games as you like, even at the same time. As long as a game is not full, it does not commit you.
- When the foursome is full, you are committed. As soon as a game fills up, the people in it have a date, and the app automatically removes you from the other open games at the same time.
- Level range. Each game may have a published level range. If your level is within the range, you join directly. If it is outside it, or if you have no level, you send a request to join: it is approved only if everyone already playing agrees, and rejected if even one refuses.
- Category. Men's or women's games are open only to those who have declared the corresponding gender in their profile.
- Side. The app seats you on the side of the court you declared. If only the other side is available, it asks you first.
- When you open your own game, you play in it too. You can have only one game of your own per hour, and the app limits how many of your own games can be open at the same time. You can leave your own game without cancelling it for the others, or you can cancel it.
- Invitations. You can invite others and accept or decline invitations, including from clubs. If you leave or decline, the seat opens again and the others are informed.
- Leaving a booked game. When the four is complete and the court is confirmed, you do not leave on your own: you ask for a replacement, and you leave when someone takes your place. Once the game has started, nobody leaves. This is a rule of taking part in the game, so that the others do not lose the court; it does not limit your rights over your data.
- Recurring weekly game. After a completed game, one of the four can make it recurring: the same day, time and club every week. You become a member of the series only if you answer yes to the series invitation, within 7 days; a yes to a single game does not make you a member. Each week you answer for that week, and you get a place in the game only when you accept it. You leave the series whenever you like, and the organiser stops it whenever they like. A spot left vacant may be offered by JOLE AI to a substitute, who plays only that week and does not become a member.
7. Courts and clubs
The app does not book or pay for a court on your behalf. For a club that uses the JOLE console, it sends a court request; the club replies whether it confirms, proposes another time or has no court, and once the four is full it may book the first free court itself, in its own booking system. For other clubs it gives you their details so you can book by phone. A player search or an invitation does not reserve a court.
Sending or delivering a request is not a court booking. The club must confirm the booking. To cancel a court already confirmed at a club without a JOLE console, the organiser contacts the club by phone; cancelling in the app is not enough on its own.
When you book a court by phone. At a club without a JOLE console, one of you takes on contact with the club and records in the app the booking they made. If the club proposes another time, whoever calls records it and accepts it themselves, and the game's time changes only when every player of the four who has a JOLE account accepts it. Your «yes» counts without you tapping anything in two cases: when the new time is one of the times you said you can make in this game, or when the availability you declared for that day covers the whole game at the new time and you have not said in this game which times you can make or that you cannot make a club's time. We then let you know, and until the others accept it too you can tap «Δεν μπορώ τότε» (I can't then); if everyone accepts it before you do, the rules on leaving in section 6 apply. If the booking is made at another club that all four of you have declared, among your favourites or in the availability that covers that time, nobody needs to confirm again; all of you are told the club and the time. At another club, one that not all four of you have declared, whoever calls sends the club and the time to the players, and the game moves there only when everyone accepts it; they then record the booking. There your «yes» counts without you tapping anything only when the club is among your favourites or among the clubs of the availability that covers that time. Your team-mates see that you accepted, not where your «yes» came from.
When another time is proposed in the app. The same rule applies when the club proposes another time from the JOLE console, and when JOLE AI proposes a court at another time, on the same or another day, because no court was free when the four filled up: your «yes» counts without you tapping anything when the new time is one of the times you said you can make in this game, or when the availability you declared for that day covers the whole game at the new time and you have not said in this game which times you can make or that you cannot make a proposed time. When JOLE AI proposes a court at another club, your «yes» counts this way only if that club is among your favourites or among the clubs of the availability that covers the new time; otherwise you answer yourself. We then let you know. When the «yes» of all four counts, the game's time changes and the court is booked without anyone tapping, and all of you are told. From then on the game commits you like any game that is full, and the app removes you from the other open games at the new time (section 6). Until then you can tap «Δεν μπορώ τότε» (I can't then): on the club's proposal your «yes» is removed and the club sees it; on JOLE AI's proposal the next option follows, or, when the other three accept it on the same day, JOLE AI looks for a substitute for your seat at the new time, and until then your seat stays yours. If everyone accepts before you do, the rules on leaving in section 6 apply.
The game and the court booking are an agreement between you, your team-mates and the club. The court price, payment and cancellation terms are set by the club; where it has declared them, the app shows them in its details. JOLE does not charge you for games or courts.
Padel is a sport. You take part at your own responsibility, according to your own fitness. The venue, the equipment and their safety are the club's responsibility. We do not supervise games and we do not inspect courts.
Club tournaments
- Entry. You enter tournaments that a club opens from the app. The club sets the rules, the match schedule and the results, and is responsible for them.
- Who sees the schedule. The match schedule, the pairs the club approved and the results are seen by every player who opens the tournament in the app, not only those who entered, with each player's name. Players who have a block or a «όχι ξανά» (not again) between them see each other as «Παίκτης» (Player). Entries before the pairs are approved and those looking for a partner are seen only by those who have a place in the tournament and by the club; the waiting list only by the club.
- Entry fee. When the club sets an entry fee, the app shows it. You pay it to the club, as the club sets. JOLE collects nothing from it and sells nothing in the app.
- Entry deadline. When the club sets a deadline, new entries close by themselves after it. Without a deadline, they close when the tournament starts.
- Club terms. When the club writes entry terms, you read them and tap «Συμφωνώ» (I agree) before entering. We record when you agreed and to which text, and the club sees whether you agreed to the terms in force. If the club changes its terms after your entry, the app tells you and you can agree again. The club's terms are an agreement between you and the club.
- Note and times. You can write a note for the club and choose the times of the tournament when you can't play. Only the club sees them, not the other players. The club tries not to put your matches at those times; when it finds no other free time it may, and the match is marked in its schedule. You change or clear them while entries are open, and they are deleted when you withdraw.
Lessons with a club coach
At a club that uses the JOLE console you can request a padel lesson with one of its coaches, private or group. The app shows only the coaches the club has published, and only times when the coach and a court for the lesson are both free, for the next 14 days and at least 2 hours before the lesson. You can have up to 3 lesson requests waiting for an answer.
- Request and confirmation. A request reserves neither a coach nor a court, and it is not a booking. The club's front desk confirms it, or it is confirmed at once when the club has switched on automatic confirmation and the time is still free. The front desk answers within 24 hours of the request and at the latest 60 minutes before the lesson; otherwise the request expires and we let you know. On confirmation the club reserves the coach and a court for the lesson in its own system. If it cannot, the club says no, and it may write you a note.
- Price, payment and cancellation. The lesson price and the cancellation deadline are set by the club, and the app shows them on the lesson. You pay the price to the club, not through the app; JOLE does not charge you for lessons. You can withdraw a request that is waiting for an answer at any time. You can cancel a confirmed lesson in the app until the club's cancellation deadline; after that, for any change you contact the club, and any cancellation charge is set by the club. The club may cancel a lesson before it starts, and we then let you know.
- Group lesson open to others. When you request a group lesson, you can open it to other students, for the level your profile shows. Once it is confirmed, players looking for a lesson in the club's area can see it, and those at its level can join while there are places and until 30 minutes before the start. Anyone who joined can leave in the app until the club's cancellation deadline. As the one who requested it, you can cancel it for everyone until the same deadline; if you leave while other students are in it, the lesson goes on for them and whoever joined first takes over its organisation.
- One lesson, one time. A confirmed lesson commits you like a game that is full: the app removes you from the open games at the same time, and while it stands you cannot join another game or lesson that overlaps with it.
- Assessment by the coach. If the club has given the coach permission, after a confirmed lesson the coach can record an assessment for you: a level category and what they saw in the lesson. It does not change your JOLE Level (section 8). We tell you in the app and you see it in full under «Αξιολογήσεις προπονητή» (coach assessments); the club and the coach see it too, no one else. You can remove it at any time; then no one sees it, not even the club, and the coach cannot write a new one for the same lesson.
- The club and the coach. The lesson is an agreement between you and the club. The coach is the club's person, not JOLE's. The content, quality and safety of the lesson are the responsibility of the club and the coach; we do not select, certify or supervise coaches or lessons. The coach's profile details (description, levels, languages, photo) are written by the club, which declares that the coach agrees to them being shown. What the club sees about you is set out in the Privacy Policy for players.
If you are a club coach
If you are a coach at a club that uses the JOLE console, the club can link your place on its team to the JOLE Player account you already have. The club itself gives you a one-time link, valid for 7 days; JOLE sends you nothing. You open the link with your account and tap «Σύνδεσε τον λογαριασμό μου» (link my account). One account can be linked to only one coach of the same club.
- What you see. In «Η οθόνη του προπονητή» (the coach screen) you see the confirmed lessons you teach at that club: time, court, and the names of the students who have a JOLE account; for those who do not, only how many there are. You do not see a student's mobile number, email or level, nor anything from another club or from other coaches' lessons.
- Answering requests, only with the club's permission. If the club gives you permission, you confirm or decline the requests for your lessons, on behalf of the club and with the same checks as the front desk (you and a court for the lesson free in the club's schedule). To answer, you also see the note the student wrote to the club. When you decline, you can write the student a note. The club sees which requests you answered.
- Coach assessment, only with the club's permission. If the club gives you permission, after a confirmed lesson you taught and up to 30 days after it ended, you can record for each of its students with a JOLE account a level category and what you saw in the lesson. The assessment does not change the student's JOLE Level (section 8). The student and the club see it, with your name at the club and the date of the lesson, and the student is told in the app. A newer one for the same student replaces the previous one. The student can remove it at any time; then no one sees it, not even the club, and you cannot write a new one for the same lesson. Write only what you saw in the lesson, respectfully (section 5).
- The lessons you teach commit you. A confirmed lesson you teach commits you like a game that is full: the app removes you from the open games at the same time, and while it stands you cannot join another game or lesson that overlaps with it.
- Notifications. We let you know about new requests for your lessons (only when you have permission to answer) and about lessons that are confirmed or cancelled in your schedule. You switch them off in the notification settings, under «Τα μαθήματά μου» (my lessons).
- Unlinking. You can unlink from a club at any time, from «Η οθόνη του προπονητή». The club can unlink you at any time, and we then tell you in the app; it can change your permissions at any time, and the coach screen always shows the current ones. The link also ends when the club removes you from its team, when you declare that you are under 18 or when you delete your account. Your lessons stay in the club's schedule, and the assessments you wrote stay with the students and the club.
- Your relationship with the club. Linking does not make you a JOLE person and does not change your arrangement with the club, which the two of you set. You answer and assess on behalf of the club. JOLE does not charge you anything for this.
Lessons with an independent coach
An independent coach is a professional padel coach with their own JOLE account, who is not part of a club's team and teaches at clubs of their choice. They appear in the app only after a person on the JOLE team approves their application, checking their identity and details outside the app.
- The contract is with the coach. You make the lesson contract with the coach, not with JOLE. JOLE is not a party to it, collects nothing and does not guarantee the lesson. The content, quality and safety of the lesson are the coach's responsibility, and the venue and equipment are the club's. Towards the coach, who offers their services as a trader, you have the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
- Price and payment. The coach sets the price, and you pay the coach directly. No money passes through JOLE, and JOLE charges nothing for these lessons, neither to you nor to the coach.
- What you see. On the coach's card you see their description, levels and languages, the areas and clubs where they teach, the price and hours they state, and the «Στοιχεία επαγγελματία» (Trader details): name, address, phone, email and registration number where there is one, together with their statement that they offer only services that comply with European Union law. The coach states these details themselves and is responsible for their accuracy.
- Request. You ask for a lesson of 60, 90 or 120 minutes at one of the coach's clubs, for the next 14 days and at least 2 hours before the lesson. You can have up to 3 requests waiting for an answer. A request is not a booking and does not commit you or the coach. The coach answers up to 60 minutes before the lesson; otherwise the request expires and we let you know. When they decline, they can write you a note.
- «Ψάχνω προπονητή» (Looking for a coach). Instead of choosing a coach yourself, you can write what lesson you want: the area, up to 7 days within the next 14 days, your hours (within 07:00–24:00), the length (60, 90 or 120 minutes), the level, whether the lesson is private or for a group (2 to 4 people including you) and a note. You can have up to 2 open requests. Approved independent coaches of the area who teach the level you ask for see the request, without your name or anything else from your account; coaches you have blocked or who have blocked you, or where either of you has said «όχι ξανά» (not again), do not see it. Up to 30 of them are notified, in the order of the list of coaches for the area. Any coach who wants to sends you an offer with one of their clubs in the area, a time within the hours you asked for and their price, and we let you know. A request is not a booking and does not commit you or the coaches. When you choose an offer, up to 60 minutes before its time, it becomes a lesson with that coach, as when a coach accepts a request, and the coach then sees your name; the other offers close. You can say «όχι» (no) to an offer, and the same coach does not send another one on the same request. You can withdraw the request whenever you want; otherwise it expires 60 minutes before the last start time that fits your hours, and we let you know.
- When the coach accepts, the hour is committed. The lesson commits you like a game that filled up: the app takes you out of open games at the same time, and while it stands you cannot join another game or lesson that overlaps with it. The same applies to the coach.
- The court. The coach books the court with the club, on the club's terms. JOLE does not book a court for these lessons and writes nothing into the club's booking system. When the coach states in the app the court they booked, we let you know.
- Cancelling. You can withdraw a request that is waiting for an answer at any time. A lesson the coach accepted can be cancelled by you or by them in the app until it starts, and the other side is told. If the coach stops taking lessons through the app (withdrawal, suspension, the end of their partnership or deletion of their account), their future lessons are cancelled and we let you know. Any cancellation or charging terms are set by the coach, outside the app.
- Reporting and blocking. If an independent coach or their profile breaks these terms or the law, tap «Αναφορά» (Report) on their card; we review the report as section 10 describes. You can also write to us at the email in section 17. If you block them or say "not again", you no longer see each other in lists and cards, and no new request or lesson can happen between you. A lesson already agreed stays in the schedule, and either of you can cancel it, like any lesson.
Terms for independent coaches
Version 2026-10-17. They apply to anyone who applies or is an independent coach on JOLE, together with the other terms for players. You accept them in the application, and the app records in your application which version you accepted and when.
- The service is free. As an independent coach you are shown to players in the app, who send you lesson requests, and you accept or decline them from «Η οθόνη του προπονητή» (the coach screen). JOLE charges you nothing, collects nothing on your behalf, and no money passes through the app. You make the lesson contract with the student; JOLE is not a party to it. You set and collect the price yourself, and you are responsible for your tax and professional obligations. JOLE does not book courts for your lessons: you book the court with the club, on the club's terms, and state it in the app so the student is told. You may offer your lessons outside JOLE too, on any terms you like.
- Adults only. Anyone who has turned 18 and has an active JOLE Player account can become an independent coach. Lessons through the app also take place only with students who have turned 18; the app does not arrange lessons for minors.
- Verification. In the application you fill in your profile (description, levels, languages, areas, the clubs in the directory where you teach, and if you wish a price per hour and hours) and your details as a trader: business or full name, address, phone, email, tax identification number (your Greek AFM, or the number of the country where you are resident for tax purposes, with that country) and, where there is one, registration number. You state that you offer only services that comply with European Union law, as Article 30(1)(e) of the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065) requires. A person on the JOLE team reviews the application, checks your identity and details outside the app, and records when and how they did it; the app neither asks for nor uploads identity documents. Until approval no player sees your profile.
- Accurate, up-to-date details. Your trader details must be accurate, and you keep them up to date. If you change them after approval, the application is reviewed again and your profile is hidden until then; the lessons you have already accepted stay, and you can accept waiting requests after the new approval. A change to the profile alone needs no new approval.
- What players see. While you are approved, players see your account's name, its photo as your «Ποιος βλέπει την κάρτα μου» (Who sees my card) setting allows, your description, levels, languages, areas, clubs, price and hours note, and your trader details: business name, address, phone, email, registration number and the compliance statement. No player ever sees the tax identification number or its country; only the JOLE team sees them. You are not shown to anyone you have blocked or who has blocked you, nor when either of you has said "not again" about the other.
- How the list is ordered. Players see the independent coaches of the area they choose (otherwise their own area), meaning those who list it among their areas or teach at a club there, up to 60 in the list, in this order: first the coaches the player follows, then the most recently approved, and for the same approval time whoever applied first. A new review after a change of details does not change the approval date. Nothing else affects the order, and no one can pay to appear higher.
- Requests and lessons. A player asks for a lesson of 60, 90 or 120 minutes at one of your clubs, for the next 14 days and at least 2 hours before it starts. You answer up to 60 minutes before the lesson; any request you do not answer expires. The app does not let you accept a lesson that overlaps with a closed game or another lesson, yours or the student's. A lesson you accept commits you like a game that filled up. Until it starts, you or the student can cancel it, and the other side is told.
- «Ψάχνω προπονητή» (Looking for a coach) requests. On «Η οθόνη του προπονητή» (the coach screen) you see up to 40 open requests from players for your areas (the ones you list and those where you have a club), for levels you teach, those that expire first at the top, without the player's name: area, days, hours, length, level, private or group with the number of people, and their note. You send an offer with one of your clubs in the area of the request and a time within its days and hours, at least 2 hours ahead; the price of the offer is the one on your card when you send it. One offer per request, up to 10 waiting, and each request takes up to 10. You can change or withdraw it while it waits. If the player chooses it, it becomes a lesson that commits you, as when you accept a request, and you then see their name. If they choose another offer, withdraw the request or say «όχι» (no) to yours, we tell you in the app; after a «όχι» you do not send another on the same request. We notify you of a new request in your area, and you can turn these notifications off in their settings. If you stop taking lessons through the app, your waiting offers are withdrawn and the players are told, without the reason.
- What you see about students and what JOLE keeps. For each request and lesson you see the student's name, their photo as their own setting allows, the club, the time, the duration and their note. You do not see their mobile number, email or level, and JOLE gives you no lists of players or aggregated data. JOLE keeps the requests and lessons while both accounts exist, deletes them when either of you deletes their account, and does not give them to clubs or third parties: when a club invites you or the student to a game at the same time, it sees only that you are not available. After the partnership ends you still see your application and its decisions. We keep your trader details while you are an independent coach and for 6 months after the relationship ends, as the Privacy Policy for players explains.
- Grounds for rejection, suspension and termination. The JOLE team rejects an application, suspends a profile or ends the partnership only on one of these grounds:
- The trader details could not be verified, or they are inaccurate or incomplete.
- The profile is misleading or is not about padel lessons.
- A breach of the terms for independent coaches or the terms for players.
- A service or content that breaks the law.
- Conduct that endangers or harasses players.
- Every decision with its reasons. A person on the JOLE team makes the decision, and you see it in your application, in the app, from the moment it applies: what was decided, when it applies, why, which of the grounds above it relies on, and what you can do. You are also told with a line in Activity. We write the reasons in Greek, and also in English when your app is set to another language at the time of the decision: you read them in Greek when your app is in Greek, and in English in any other language when there is an English text.
- Suspension. Your profile is hidden, you receive no requests, and your future lessons are cancelled with a notice to the students, without the reason. It applies from the moment of the decision until it is lifted.
- Ending the partnership. We give you notice of the end at least 30 days before it takes effect. Until then everything stays as it is, and you accept only lessons that end before that date; lessons after it are cancelled on the day it takes effect, with a notice to the students. The end takes effect at once only when the law requires it or for a serious or repeated breach.
- Withdrawal by you. You can withdraw your application or profile at any time, from the same screen; your future lessons are cancelled and your students are told. The same happens when you delete your account or state that you are under 18.
- Complaints and review. If you disagree with a decision or have a complaint, write to us from «Βοήθεια και υποστήριξη» (Help and support) in the app or at the email in section 17, free of charge. JOLE reviews the available information and gives you a reasoned answer within 10 working days; if more information is needed, it lets you know within the same period. If the decision is reversed, your profile is restored without delay.
- Changes to these terms. We notify you in the app of changes to the terms for independent coaches at least 15 days before they take effect, unless the law requires them to take effect sooner; for these terms this period applies instead of the one in section 15. If you do not agree, you can withdraw your profile before they take effect. When you next change your application, the app asks you to accept the new version.
- Your relationship with JOLE and the clubs. You are not part of JOLE, and approval does not make you part of any club. JOLE does not offer lessons of its own. You follow the rules of the club where you teach and section 5, and section 10 applies to your description and photo.
8. Score, JOLE Level and reliability
- Score. The score is entered after the game ends. It is confirmed by the other side (the opponents or the club), never by whoever entered it. If the other side disagrees, it enters its own score: then neither score counts, and the club (for a game with its own booking) or a person on the JOLE team resolves the disagreement. If the other side does not respond, the score is confirmed automatically once a set number of hours has passed without objection, and all players of the game are informed. Until it is confirmed, the result counts for nothing.
- JOLE Level. It is an estimate of your level, not a certification. You declare the initial one yourself, directly or through the registration questionnaire. After that it changes only with confirmed results of competitive games, or with a recorded review by a club assessor; friendly games do not change it, nor does a coach assessment after a lesson (section 7), and you do not change it by hand. If after a game you believe a team-mate's level is not right, you can report it.
- Reliability. After a game has ended, those who had a seat can report that a team-mate did not turn up. One report has no consequence; if a second one reports it too, the absence is confirmed and that player's reliability goes down by 3 points. The player is notified in the app and can tap «Διαφωνώ» (I disagree): a person on the JOLE team reviews the objection and reverses the absence or keeps it, saying why. Reliability is visible only to those who have played with the player and to clubs; the players themselves see it, with the rules and their absences, under «Η αξιοπιστία μου» (my reliability).
- Post-game feedback. Whom you do or do not want to play with again stays private: neither the other person nor the club sees it.
Achievements
- Official, from the club. An achievement (a place in a tournament, a cup, a medal or another distinction) shows on your profile only when the club where it was won confirms or awards it, with the club's name. The club confirms it from its console, may correct its details, or may refuse it by writing the reason. The club confirms the results and is responsible for them; JOLE does not check them itself.
- Your request. You send a request only for an achievement you won yourself, dated up to 15 years back, and you can have up to 5 requests waiting for an answer. While it waits, you can withdraw it whenever you want. A request not answered within 180 days is deleted; at a club without a JOLE console it waits until then for the club to join. Declaring an achievement you did not win breaches these terms (section 5).
- Your teammate. If you name a teammate, we ask them whether they were with you; they show on the achievement only if they say «ήμουν εγώ» (it was me), and if they say «no» they leave it. The same applies when someone else names you.
- Awards from the club. The club may award you an achievement alone or with one teammate (up to 2 players together), or award the podium places of one of its tournaments that has finished. After the podium is awarded, the tournament's scores no longer change, unless the club first revokes its achievements.
- Revoking and hiding. The club may revoke an achievement it confirmed or awarded by writing the reason, which only those in the achievement see. You hide an achievement from your profile and show it again whenever you want.
- Photo. You add a photo to your request while it waits for an answer, only your own or with the consent of those who appear in it (section 10). The club may put its own photo in its place. Any achievement shown to others can be reported (section 10).
- No effect on level. Achievements do not change your JOLE Level, reliability or JOLE Rating, and do not decide which games or tournaments you can join.
9. JOLE AI
JOLE AI
JOLE AI is an artificial intelligence assistant; when you write to it, you are talking to an AI system, not a person. You assign it to find you a game, and for that specific assignment it may send invitations to players and a court request to the club you chose, on your behalf. It organises games at every club in the directory. When the group of four is complete, at a club with a JOLE console it sends a court request to the club's front desk. At a club without a console it asks you to call the club yourself and then tell JOLE AI the time you booked. JOLE may limit organising to clubs with JOLE Club Manager AI, and then JOLE AI organises only at those clubs. It can also find you free lesson times with a club coach and open the lesson on the club's screen; you send the lesson request yourself from there, not JOLE AI. You can stop an assignment whenever you like. Its answers may be wrong: check whatever matters to you.
JOLE AI is free for every player. It has monthly fair-use limits that we set, and the app shows you how much you have used; if you reach the limit, it stops answering until the next cycle begins. For operational or security reasons it may be interrupted temporarily; your assignments are then paused and are not lost.
If you had a JOLE Player AI subscription
The JOLE Player AI subscription is no longer sold and the app no longer has a subscription screen. The subscriptions that had been bought have been cancelled and do not renew, so there is no longer any charge that needs cancelling. For anything about a past purchase (a receipt, a refund, a withdrawal you made or want to make, your details at Stripe) write to hello@jolepadel.com and a person answers. Whatever the law gives you as a consumer for that purchase is not limited by the end of sales. Deleting the account also takes care of your customer at Stripe, without a second request from you (Data deletion, section 1).
10. Your content
You can upload videos, photos and stories, comment, send messages and link live broadcasts from YouTube. Link only broadcasts that are yours or that you are allowed to share.
- It is yours. What you upload stays yours. You give us a limited, free licence to store it, process it technically and show it inside JOLE to the audience you chose, as far as the service needs. The licence ends when you delete the content.
- Who sees it. Each video and each photo keeps the visibility you chose when you published it: «Όλοι» (Everyone) or «Όσοι με ακολουθούν» (People who follow me). What you publish for Everyone can be seen by anyone who opens the app, even without an account, and may appear in the video feed's suggestions. Stories stop being shown to others when they expire; the app shows when.
- Deletion. You delete your videos, photos, active stories and comments from inside the app. For anything you cannot delete there, write to us.
- Other people. You publish images or video showing others only with their consent. You can tag in a post only people you follow. Whoever is tagged learns about it in the app and can remove the tag; the removal is final.
- Music. Tracks offered by the app's camera were created by JOLE itself with its own code, with no recordings or samples from third parties. They may be used only for posts inside JOLE.
- Messages. Private messages are seen by the participants in the conversation. When you write to a club's front desk, or in a game chat at a club with a JOLE console, the club also reads the messages.
What you may not publish
Illegal content; content that infringes copyright or other people's rights; harassment, threats, hate speech, violence; sexual content; other people's personal data without their consent; images of a minor without the consent of their parent or guardian; advertising or spam.
Reporting
From the menu of a story, video, comment, live stream or player, from the page of an achievement, and by tapping a message someone sent you, you can make a report. You pick from a list what is happening, write an explanation — required when you report illegal content, an infringement of rights or "something else" — and declare that the report is made in good faith. The app records exactly what you are reporting; your account is your contact detail.
When you send the report you get a receipt with a number and a time, on screen and in Activity, and the JOLE team reviews it within 24 hours; our target is to decide within 72 hours, and reports of a risk to someone's life or safety are looked at immediately. These are our own targets, not legal deadlines. When we decide, we tell you in Activity what we decided. When a report shows that someone's life or safety is threatened, we inform the competent authorities immediately.
Decisions and appeals
We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law, and suspend for a set period or close the account that published it. Every such decision is taken by a person on the JOLE team. When it concerns you, we give you a statement of reasons: what we decided and for how long, the facts, which term was broken, whether it followed a report or our own initiative, and whether automated means were used. For removal of your content the statement arrives in Activity; for a suspension we email it to you, and the app's sign-in screen shows it for as long as the suspension lasts. While suspended you cannot sign in, and your profile, videos, stories and comments are not shown to others.
An automated filter refuses to publish texts containing specific abusive words (section 5) and tells you the text was not sent, so you can change it. The filter does not remove published content and does not suspend accounts.
Against any decision that concerns you — as the creator of the content or as the person who reported it — you can appeal, free of charge, within 6 months, from the decision screen; while suspended, from the sign-in screen. A person reviews it and we answer you the same way. If we reverse a suspension, the account is active again at once; content that was removed cannot come back, because it is deleted together with its file. You may also turn to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body under Article 21 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services, or to the courts.
Hiding and blocking
From the feed you can hide a video or all videos of a creator. From a player's profile you can block them: from then on you cannot message each other, you do not see each other's videos, stories and comments, and JOLE does not suggest you for the same game; games you have already booked together do not change. You undo it from Settings. Whoever uploaded a video or linked a live stream can delete other people's comments under it.
11. Videos from YouTube
The video feed includes videos hosted on YouTube that play in YouTube's own player, after you accept it the first time. The app uses YouTube API Services. By using JOLE, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. The Google Privacy Policy also applies to YouTube videos, and section 7 of the Player Privacy Policy explains which data they involve. Videos that their creator has declared on YouTube as “made for kids” do not appear in JOLE. We do not download, re-host or modify these videos; their rights belong to their creators. A video may stop playing because its creator withdrew it or no longer allows embedding. Comments you write on them inside JOLE stay in JOLE.
12. Notifications and email
If you allow it, we send you notifications about invitations, games, lessons, messages and reminders. You set them per type from Settings. Emails with codes and updates about your account are not marketing and do not stop, because without them you cannot sign in.
13. Ending
You delete your account whenever you like, from inside the app or by email; what is deleted is set out on the Data deletion page.
We may discontinue the service or close your account with thirty days' notice, and immediately in case of a serious breach of these terms or a legal obligation.
14. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, nor that you will always find team-mates, a court or a lesson. We are liable for damage we cause by intent or negligence, to the extent the law provides. We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury, for intent or gross negligence, or for anything the law does not allow to be limited. We are not liable for the conduct of other players or clubs, who are not under our control.
Your rights as a consumer under Greek and European law are not affected by any term here. If you have a complaint, write first to hello@jolepadel.com. If it is not resolved, you may turn to the Greek Consumer Ombudsman (synigoroskatanaloti.gr).
15. Changes
Material changes are announced in the app at least thirty days before they take effect. If you disagree, you may delete your account.
16. Governing law
Greek law. The courts of Athens have jurisdiction, without prejudice to your right as a consumer to bring proceedings where you live.
17. Contact
hello@jolepadel.com. It is also our point of contact under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services (Articles 11 and 12), for authorities and for users: you can write in Greek or English and a person answers. It also accepts reports of illegal content from anyone without an account. See also the Privacy Policy for players, Cookies, Data deletion and the Partner terms.
18. Joining a game from a link, without an account (Participation Terms)
This section is the agreement between you and AUDIVION L.P. (section 1) when you join a game from a link a player sent you, without a JOLE account. By selecting «Συμμετέχω» (Join), you request a spot in this game and accept these terms. We record which version of the terms was in force at that moment.
- What the spot does. You hold one spot in this game, under the name you enter. Enter your real name, as your teammates will recognise you. In men's, women's or mixed games you also state your gender, so that we can check that you fit.
- Age. You can join only if you are at least 18 years old. Before «Συμμετέχω» (Join) you tick “I confirm that I am at least 18 years old”; without it the spot is not held (section 3).
- The spot's key. A random key is stored in a cookie in your browser so that JOLE can recognise your spot and let you manage it. By default it is a session cookie and is removed when you close the browser. If you choose, with a separate option that is not pre-selected («Να θυμάται αυτός ο περιηγητής τη συμμετοχή μου έως [ημερομηνία]. Με την επιλογή αυτή αποδέχομαι την αποθήκευση cookie σε αυτόν τον περιηγητή, για να επιστρέφω στη συμμετοχή μου χωρίς νέα αναγνώριση.», Remember my participation in this browser until [date]. By choosing this I accept that a cookie is stored in this browser so that I can return to my participation without being identified again.), the browser remembers your participation until the date we show you before you choose: 7 days after the game's scheduled end, or after its cancellation if it was cancelled earlier, as long as you need to see the result and make the spot yours. You revoke the choice from the spot's page, with one tap. After that date the key no longer opens the spot. Without this option, your spot stays held, but you may not be recognised automatically on a later visit. If you lose management access, contact the organiser. The game link does not prove a right to manage your spot. Anyone with access to the browser that holds the key can manage it.
- The game's rules. The rules of section 6 for the game, section 7 for the court and the club, and section 5 for conduct apply. You arrange the court, its price and its payment with your teammates and the club; JOLE does not charge you.
- Leaving. You leave from the spot's page until the game starts. When the four is complete and the court is confirmed, you talk to the organiser, who can remove your spot. The organiser can also remove your spot, as any spot in their game.
- Without an account you receive no notifications, have no level, reliability or JOLE Rating, and we do not suggest you for other games.
- Spot to account. If you create an account or sign in from the same browser, you can make the spot yours; from then on the rest of these terms apply to your account.
- Your data. What we keep, for how long, and how you exercise your rights without an account is explained in the Privacy Policy for players, sections 10 and 13.
- Contact, liability and law. Sections 14, 16 and 17 apply.
