Data deletion

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Juridiset tekstimme ovat saatavilla kreikaksi ja englanniksi. Tämä on englanninkielinen versio.

You have the right to request deletion of your data. This page says how, what goes at once, what stays and why, and how long it takes. Responsible: AUDIVION L.P., 47 Solonos St., Kolonaki, Athens 10672, Greece, VAT EL802838365, GEMI 183697103000. Email: hello@jolepadel.com.

1. If you are a player: from the app

The fastest way, without writing to anyone:

Open the Profile tab and tap the Settings gear.
At the end of the list tap «Διαγραφή λογαριασμού» (Delete account). Read what is deleted and what stays, and tap «Συνέχεια» (Continue).
We send a code to your account's email. Enter it and tap «Διάγραψε οριστικά» (Delete permanently).

Deletion happens at once and you are signed out of every device. It cannot be undone.

The player account is free, and the JOLE Player AI subscription is no longer sold; the app has no active player subscription that needs cancelling. If you bought it in the past, deletion also takes care of your customer in the payment system (Stripe), without a second request from you: we first check that it serves nothing else (an active subscription, an open invoice, a balance, or a link with a club or another account), and then ask Stripe to delete it. If it serves any of these, we do not delete it automatically, because deletion at Stripe cannot be undone: a person on our team decides the case, and until then its data is not used for anything. If Stripe does not answer, we retry on our own, and if the case stays open for more than one day a person follows it up. Stripe keeps some data about the transactions that took place for its own legal obligations, such as tax obligations and fraud prevention, for the periods set out in Stripe's Privacy Policy. Our own record of the purchase is kept for as long as tax law requires (section 4). Deleting your player account does not change any club contract or subscription, even if you are a member of a club's console team (section 9).

2. By email

If you no longer have access to the app, or if you also want deleted what deletion from the app does not remove, email hello@jolepadel.com with the subject "Data deletion".

Player: write from your account's email, or give us your account's email and mobile number.
Club: write from the club account's email.
You joined a game from a link, without an account: say which game it was (the link, or the day, time and club) and the name you entered. We will ask only for what we need to confirm that the spot is yours, not for an identity document. Without a request, the hash of the spot's key and the gender are deleted automatically 7 days after the game's scheduled end or its cancellation, and the name 30 days after, when it becomes «Guest» in the game's history.

We confirm that the account is yours before deleting anything. Without this, anyone could request deletion of your data.

3. What is deleted at once

When you delete your account from the app:

your sign-in methods (email, Google, Apple, Facebook) and all your sessions;
your profile photo;
your player card: JOLE Level, side, cities, availability, visibility, gender, year of birth, description, playing details;
your age declarations (that you are at least 18, or that you are under 18 and the related marking) and the deletion date of an under-18 account;
your handle and a new mobile number awaiting approval;
your future availability and the days you said you cannot play;
whom you follow and who follows you, your mutes, your blocks and your team-mate preferences;
what you published: videos, photos, stories and their files, your highlights and the live streams you linked — together with other people's comments under them;
your comments, likes, saves, the videos and creators you hid or followed, and your tags on other people's posts;
your favourite clubs;
your conversation with JOLE AI;
your notifications and your devices' notification subscriptions;
your participation in conversations;
your seats in lessons, and the note you wrote to the club when you requested them;
the note and the times you said you can't play in club tournaments;
the coach assessments you received after lessons;
your achievements: the requests that were waiting for the club are deleted, you leave every achievement (also where someone else named you as their teammate), any achievement left without a holder is deleted, and the photo you uploaded is deleted even if the achievement stays with your teammate;
your lessons with an independent coach, as a student or as an independent coach, together with both sides' notes; future ones are cancelled first, and the other side is told about those that had been agreed;
your independent coach profile (description, levels, languages, areas, clubs, price, hours);
your «Ψάχνω προπονητή» (Looking for a coach) requests with their offers, and the offers you sent as an independent coach; open ones are withdrawn first, and those who had sent or were waiting on an offer are told, without the reason;
whatever was recorded for the personalised feed;
the partner referral measurement, if you had agreed to it (the monthly totals carry no identifier of yours and remain);
pending registrations and sign-in codes sent to your email or mobile number;
whatever assesses you as a player: the evaluation period, level estimates and level reviews, teammates' opinions about you, no-show reports about you, your reliability, and your games and wins counters;
your past availability, not only the future one;
your account's JOLE number, the link to your account with the payment system, and the identifier in your profile links (old links and QR codes no longer lead anywhere);
your name wherever it had been written as text in shared records: in game histories, in your teammates' and clubs' notifications, in other players' JOLE AI searches you were invited to; it is replaced by "Deleted player".

In addition, you automatically leave every game that has not yet taken place (the others are informed and the seat opens again), you leave waiting lists, your pending requests to join are withdrawn, you leave or decline tournaments that have not yet taken place, including club tournaments, upcoming lessons you had requested or booked on your own are cancelled (the club is told) and you leave group lessons with other students without them being cancelled for those students, you leave every recurring weekly game and those you organised stop opening new games, the searches you gave JOLE AI stop (and their court request is withdrawn), invitations other players sent you through JOLE AI are answered no, and your account is unlinked from every club where you were linked as a coach (the front desk learns it without the reason). The answers you gave as a coach to lesson requests and the assessments you wrote stay with the club and the students under your name at the club, without your account.

4. What stays, why, and for how long

Some data is not deleted at the same moment, because it also belongs to other people or because the law requires us to keep it. We keep it tied to an account with no name, email, mobile number or JOLE number, shown as "Deleted player".

This is not anonymisation. People who played with you know who sat in which seat, people who talked with you know whom they were writing to, and we keep records linked to you, such as the payment of a subscription. So this data is still your personal data: all your rights apply (section 5), and each item is deleted automatically when its period ends.

What stays	Why	Legal basis	For how long
Your seat in games you played, the results, your level on the day of each game, and what you wrote about teammates (opinions, no-show reports)	It is part of your teammates' history and statistics and of the club's records	Legitimate interest of teammates and the club	24 months from the date of each game. After that the seat stays in the others' history as "Deleted player" with no link to the account, and the rest is deleted
Messages you sent in conversations with others, without a sender name	So the people you talked to can read them again, and report harassment after the fact	Legitimate interest of the people you talked to and community safety	180 days from the deletion
The searches you gave JOLE AI, stopped, your seats in other players' searches, and the cost of your JOLE AI usage without the content of conversations	So other players' searches and the month's account with the provider can be closed	Legitimate interest	90 days from the deletion
The reports you made about content or users	While open, so they can be decided; after that, so abuse of reporting can be seen	Legitimate interest (community safety)	Until decided, and 365 days after
Support requests, with our replies	What was asked and what was answered, if a dispute arises	Legitimate interest	730 days from the last activity
The record of your subscription and purchases	Tax and accounting records	Legal obligation	5 years from the end of the year of the last activity
The deletion of your Stripe customer: while open, the customer's code; after that, only when it closed and with what result	So the deletion at Stripe can be completed, and so we can show that it was done	Legitimate interest	The code until the case closes; the result 5 years from the end of the year, like payment records
The record of our team's decision to mark an account as an under-18 account or to lift the marking: when, which team member, what it relied on and the number of the report or request, with no description of the person	So we can show why the account was restricted and deleted	Legitimate interest	730 days from the decision
Your independent coach trader details (business name, address, phone, email, tax identification number with its country, registration number, compliance statement, record of the check) and the decisions about your application, without a link to the account	A trader's details are kept for a set period after the relationship ends	Legal obligation (Article 30(6) of the Digital Services Act) where it applies; otherwise legitimate interest	6 months from the end of the relationship
Sign-in events, with the IP address only as a keyed cryptographic fingerprint	Account security and abuse investigation	Legitimate interest (security)	365 days, for all accounts

When the last period ends, the account with no name is itself deleted permanently.

5. Your rights over what stays

You can ask for what stays on the basis of legitimate interest to be deleted earlier, or object to keeping it, by writing to us as in section 2. We will delete it unless a specific overriding reason exists, which we will explain to you in writing, such as an open harassment investigation. Payment records stay as long as the law requires.

6. Backups and aggregate figures

Database backups keep data as it was for up to 7 days, and are then replaced. We do not use them to restore a deleted account. If we ever need to restore the database from a backup to recover from a failure, right after the restore we delete again, following a written procedure, every account that had been deleted after the time of the backup.
We keep aggregate statistics, such as how many games took place in a month, that contain no data about any person.

7. If you are a customer of a club

Your customer record at a club belongs to the club: it decides what to keep for its operations, and we process it on its instructions. When you delete your JOLE account, that record loses its link to your account but stays with the club, together with the bookings of your lessons in its schedule and your entries in its tournaments that took place, without your note and times. To have it deleted, contact the club or us; we will cooperate so that your request is answered without sending you back and forth.

8. JOLE Vision

Match video recording (JOLE Vision) does not operate today, and we keep no match video. Before it is switched on we will write here how and when it is deleted.

9. If you are a club

Closing the club's account: by email from the account's address. We keep the club's data for up to ninety days after the relationship ends, so that you can request a copy, and then we delete it permanently, except for invoices.
A member of the console team: the club owner removes them from the console. To have the user account's details deleted as well, write to us.

10. How long it takes

Deletion from the app happens at once. We answer email requests within one month, as the General Data Protection Regulation requires, and confirm in writing what was deleted.

11. Under-18 account

An account that was declared or marked as an under-18 account is deleted automatically 14 days later, on the date the app shows, with the same deletion as in section 3; only what section 4 lists stays (including the support request that was opened and, if our team made the marking, the record of the decision), and the age declarations are deleted from the account. Until then the account is restricted and other players neither see it nor write to it, and the user can ask support for a copy of their data or delete it earlier from the app (Terms for players, section 3). If the declaration or the marking was a mistake, write in the support request that was opened, before the deletion date.
